Dan Chase

Photography has been a part of Dan’s life for over 40 years. Dan has a diverse experience in the photographic field having worked as a professional photographer for a local newspaper, sold professional photographic equipment & supplies, served as a judge for photo contests and freelanced as a photographer for a diverse collection of clients, including photographing Miss America 1988, Kaye Lani Rae Rafko. Dan spent about two years working for Olan Mills Portrait Studios traveling all over New York & New England hiring & training new photographers, as well as photographing portraits for a diverse clientele in the process.

When the world wide web first hit, Dan got caught up in the excitement and the possibility of the technology. He went back to college to complete an undergraduate & graduate degree in education, and while at the university, was called on to use his natural technology skills to support the faculty & staff. Shortly after graduation, he was offered a full-time position doing user support, and eventually became the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga’s first webmaster.

While Dan has been distracted by IT for many years, he is now pursuing his dream of an independent life in the snowy mountains working at his passion, at his own pace, in his own direction.

For details of his recent experience, Dan’s résumé is available.
